Mitt komponerande spänner från soloinstrument till orkester. Idag arbetar jag främst med elektroakustisk musik och ljud- installationer, gärna i samverkan med konstnärer inom andra discipliner.

Konstnärliga tankar för ögonblicket:
förutsägbarhet – främmandegörande – tystnad ...

Sedan flytten till Växjö 1988 är jag aktiv i föreningen Media Artes som för mig är ett viktigt nav för utbyte av tankar och idéer. Endast genom engagemang kan man förändra och påverka.

Studieåren är många. Komposition för Björn Wilho Hallberg, Maurice Karkoff och Jan W Morthenson. Flöjt för bland andra Stig Bengtsson, Börje Mårelius och Sven Åberg. Fortsatta studier i instrumentation och dirigering ... jag hör fortfarande mina mentorer inom mig.

Commissioned by SVT
Roll, commissioned work for opening of the new house for Swedish broadcasting (SVT) and the wall paintings.
Collaboration with Martin Bornholm an visual artist who made mural painting with 12 different rollers with different sound.
I sampled all twelve rollers under the working in progress in his studio and create piece, the working gestures is very import for the piece.

When writing this piece, my inspiration came from the many medieval meanings of the latin word ”color”.
The music is very improvisational in character.
In one sense of the word ”color” means a improvised, coloured and ornamented tune or melody, and is to great extent the origin of my piece

In this piece I'm imitate the way of working but with digital tools in a old fashion way.
Tools that where using in the beginning for electroacoustic music as taperecorders, scissor, razor blade, tape, and with ”simple” filter, sound generators, delay…
Short cuts are composed as a rondo.

DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) is a molecule that encodes the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms.
